In an effort to bring the Mazda BT-50 back into the sales race in the pickup truck segment, competing against models like the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, 2024 Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Frontier, and Honda Ridgeline, Rcars’ YouTube channel artists have created a concept design for the fourth-generation BT-50 from a fresh perspective.
According to the rendering, the Mazda BT-50 will undergo a design transformation, resulting in a new futuristic, modern, and stylish appearance. Compared to the current version, the 2025 Mazda BT-50, as envisioned by Rcars, has undergone a redesign. The front of the vehicle has been revamped to look more modern and aggressive, featuring a new large chrome-trimmed grille that stands out. The headlights have also been redesigned to follow the trend of electric vehicle designs. The redesigned front bumper appears more muscular and powerful.
The sides of the vehicle stand out with large, rugged multi-spoke alloy wheels, exuding a sporty vibe. The square fender flares are accentuated with black plastic cladding. Some argue that the design of the 2025 Mazda BT-50, particularly from a 3/4 front view, is reminiscent of the more aggressive Honda Ridgeline version.
In the rear, the design of the tail of the vehicle is quite similar to the current Mazda BT-50, except for the redesigned taillights.
Although this is not an official rendering, personally, I quite like the new design style of the 2025 Mazda BT-50 Rcars edition. If this new design style is applied, along with the addition of more modern features and amenities, I believe the next-generation Mazda BT-50 will have enough potential to compete with the Ford Ranger and other competitors in the same segment.
