On December 22nd, Vietnam Auction Joint Stock Company continued to bring a series of car license plates to the auction floor.
Among them, the highly exclusive license plate number 11A-111.11 from Cao Bang province surprised everyone by reaching the highest bid of 8.78 billion VND.
Earlier, on December 21st, the license plate number 29K – 111.11 from Hanoi was only sold for 255 million VND.
The reason why the license plate from Cao Bang province fetched such a high price is because it has the highly exclusive number combination, along with the prefix 11 (of Cao Bang province).
In the auction session on December 22nd, several license plates were also sold at high prices, such as the plate 30L – 000.01 (2.805 billion VND); plate 30K – 955.55 (1.17 billion VND); and plate 30K – 868.88 (1.14 billion VND).
According to regulations, starting from December 16th, the second round of auctions will begin with a bidding time of only 30 minutes per license plate (instead of the previous 60 minutes).
Participants can use their phone numbers to register for an auction account, and can use both their ID card number and tax code for businesses.
In addition, if there is only one person who registers and meets the auction requirements, the license plate will be transferred to that person.
