A private enterprise in Ho Chi Minh City has recently imported the Zeeho AE6+ electric scooter from China. Zeeho is a sub-brand of CF Moto, a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer. The AE6+ model is the top-of-the-line version of the AE6 electric scooter.
In the Vietnamese market, this scooter is being sold for slightly over 90 million VND. This price is equivalent to the standard fuel Honda SH 160i.
The Zeeho AE6+ has a compact and modern design, suitable for young customers.
This electric scooter has dimensions of 1,780 x 730 x 1,090 mm (length x width x height) with a ground clearance of 136 mm and a weight of approximately 96 kg.
The scooter stands out with LED headlights, taillights, position lights, and front turn signals, while the rear turn signals are halogen.
The AE6+ is equipped with a 5-inch digital display that can connect to a smartphone. It also has a small storage compartment under the left handlebar, similar to Honda Vision scooters.
Despite being smaller than the Honda Vision, the Zeeho AE6+ still offers a spacious and comfortable seat for two people. However, the storage space is quite small, only enough for a half-face helmet.
Both the front and rear wheels are equipped with single disc brakes and do not have anti-lock braking system (ABS) technology. Instead, this electric scooter has an automatic throttle mode and can be started with a smart card.
Providing power to the scooter is a rear-wheel-mounted electric motor with nearly 7.4 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque. This power allows the scooter to accelerate from 0-50 km/h in about 4.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of over 80 km/h.
Under the seat is a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 69V 27Ah, providing a range of about 100 km per full charge. The scooter takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery with a 750 W charger.
The Zeeho AE6+ has three driving modes: Eco (economy), Street (urban), and Sport (sport). In each driving mode, the scooter offers different throttle response and acceleration.
Despite having more features than some motorcycle models in Vietnam, the high price and the “Made in China” label may make the AE6+ less accessible to Vietnamese consumers.
