In December 2023, TC Vietnam Auto Company (TCMV), a subsidiary of Tan Chong Motor Holdings (Malaysia), started production of the brand new King Long NOVA EURO 5 bus, which has been highly anticipated by the market.
The bus is available in two variants: 29 seats and 34 seats. It is assembled at TCMV’s factory located in the expanded Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone, Lien Chieu District, Danang City, Vietnam. The King Long NOVA EURO 5 bus features a completely redesigned exterior, improved technical specifications, and enhanced features for better maneuverability and superior driving comfort compared to its predecessor, the EURO 4 model.
A Completely Redesigned Exterior
The exterior of the bus is equipped with stylish LED light strips on both sides, creating a harmonious and modern look. The side mirrors consist of a short mirror (on the driver’s side) and a long mirror (on the right side), designed to reduce vibration and equipped with power adjustment and defrosting features, making it easy for the driver to observe the rear and navigate narrow roads.
Furthermore, the front lighting system includes Halogen Projector headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, providing enhanced visibility, along with turn signals and fog lights designed for both aesthetics and high illumination during travel.
Safety and Comfort for Every Journey
The spacious interior has always been a strength of King Long buses, highly appreciated by many customers. The driver’s compartment is roomy with a wide field of vision, ensuring safe vehicle operation. The driver’s seat is equipped with an air suspension feature for multi-point adjustment, reducing fatigue and enhancing driving comfort while also protecting the driver’s health.
In addition, the new King Long bus has a wide aisle and relatively large distance between passenger seats, providing ample space and convenience for passengers, ensuring a highly comfortable experience during travel.

The breakthrough of the brand new King Long NOVA EURO 5 bus lies in its use of the WEICHAI EURO 5 diesel engine, with a power output of 220PS/2300rpm and a maximum torque of 800N.m @ 1200 ~ 1800 rpm. It is equipped with an electronically controlled CRDi (Common Rail Direct Injection) fuel injection system, delivering a powerful, smooth, and fuel-efficient driving experience. WEICHAI is a widely recognized engine brand known for its outstanding performance, high durability, and suitability for installation in various types of buses for operation in various terrains.

The brand new King Long NOVA EURO 5 bus is distributed by TC Vietnam Auto Company through its 10 Dealerships across the Northern, Central, and Southern regions of Vietnam, meeting the demand of travel companies, route operators, and transportation services for staff transport, among others.
The NOVA EURO 5 bus is expected to be delivered to customers from March 2024, with an estimated price of 1.9 billion VND including VAT.
