In South Korea, the Genesis G80 Facelift 2025 is available in 2 versions and 2 engine options. Specifically, these two versions are the Standard and Sport, accompanied by the choice of a 2.5L turbocharged inline-4 engine and a 3.5L V6 engine.
Regarding the engines, the 2.5L engine produces 304 ps of power and a peak torque of 422 Nm. The more powerful 3.5L V6 engine offers 380 ps of power and a peak torque of 530 Nm.
The G80 Sport variant with the 3.5L turbocharged engine comes equipped with rear-wheel steering to improve stability at high speeds and better maneuverability at low speeds. Additionally, this version also features an electronic limited-slip differential and Sports+ driving mode.
Furthermore, the G80 Sport differs from the G80 Standard with sportier design elements and an improved interior featuring a flat-bottom steering wheel and carbon or silver trims.
Both the G80 Sport and G80 Standard come standard with Micro Lens Array LED headlights, a 27-inch wide OLED display integrating the instrument cluster and infotainment system, touch-sensitive controls for adjusting heating and ventilation features, a new “crystal-like” gear shift lever, premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, and customizable interior ambient lighting.
In terms of exterior design, the 2025 Genesis G80 exudes a sleek and eye-catching appearance. The car continues to embody the “Athletic Elegance” design language. The front end stands out with a redesigned grille combined with separate headlights. We can also notice a more sporty front bumper and prominent 20-inch wheels.
Changes in the design can also be seen at the rear with a new rear bumper and hidden exhaust system. Genesis also reveals that this model will be available in 10 exterior colors, including a new color called Brooklyn Brown.
