At the end of September 2023, the all-new Honda Dream was officially launched in the Cambodian market and immediately received great attention from motorcycle enthusiasts in Vietnam.
As predicted by many enthusiasts of this motorcycle line, the recently launched Honda Dream 2024 has been imported to the Vietnamese market through private motorcycle dealers. The price of this model in Cambodia alone has already reached over 70 million VND, but there has been no official statement on the selling price in Vietnam yet.
However, some individual motorcycle dealers have put up this motorcycle model for sale on various motorcycle forums with prices exceeding 100 million VND. Some have even pushed the price up to a staggering 126 million VND. With such high prices, the new generation Dream motorcycle even surpasses the premium Honda SH160i scooter.
Some people believe that the reason the new generation Honda Dream is priced above 100 million VND in Vietnam is because this motorcycle line is only privately imported. The cost of importing it has driven up the price of the motorcycle. However, some opinions also affirm that such high prices make the new Dream bike more exclusive, appealing to a small number of wealthy individuals who are avid fans of the Honda Dream line.
The Honda Dream 2024, when launched, was evaluated as a motorcycle line with an exterior design that inherits many legendary features from the previous Dream model. However, the graphics on the motorcycle have fresh new details, with a shimmering gold color and diamond-like patterns, adding a touch of luxury to the bike.
Despite its high price, the new Honda Dream only comes with basic equipment, typical of which are the LED headlights that automatically turn on when the motorcycle is in operation. It is equipped with drum brakes, a single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with a displacement of 124cc, and electronic fuel injection, which helps the motorcycle save fuel.
The case of the Dream motorcycle imported from Cambodia is similar to the Honda Wave 125i motorcycles imported from Thailand that were previously available in Vietnam, with a price of about over 80 million VND at private motorcycle dealers.
