The second-generation Hyundai Kona offers a range of options for petrol, hybrid, and fully electric drivetrains, but the N Line variant, which looks sportier, is currently only available for the conventional combustion engine version. However, based on the latest prototype test images, it can be seen that the electric versions will also soon receive a sporty N Line variant.
Notably, the prototype seems to have a different front body kit than the 2024 Kona N Line. Instead, both the front and rear bumpers are the same as the standard Kona Electric, without the large rear spoiler and special dual exhaust pipes.
However, it’s clear that we’re looking at a sportier version of the EV with new alloy wheels, prominent side cladding, rear diffuser, and hidden badge on the front fender.
Like most N Line models, the Kona Electric could have improvements in its suspension and steering systems to provide a more exciting driving experience. It is currently unknown if the car will receive any upgrades to its drivetrain system, but it is likely that the N Line variant will continue to use the original electric motor producing 201 horsepower combined with a larger 64.8 kWh battery pack.
