The latest video of the 2024 Porsche Panamera shows that this luxury coupe has the ability to bounce like some of Mercedes-Benz’s high-end models.

Porsche Panamera 2024 was launched in late November 2023 but has not yet been officially released. Although the company has announced basic information about the car, including a list of interior equipment and some new technologies, there are still some secrets, such as engine specifications and suspension system. Recently, Porsche posted a video on Instagram revealing that the new generation Panamera may be equipped with the most advanced and complex suspension system ever.

The post on Zuffenhausen’s Instagram account shows that the third-generation Panamera can perform all types of horizontal and vertical movements quite flexibly when the car is stationary. This is similar to the Free Driving Assist feature found in some of Mercedes-Benz’s high-end products such as GLE or GLS, which is used to help the car escape from situations stuck in sand or mud. However, this short video seems to be CGI-made, so it is unclear whether this feature will be available on the commercial version of the Panamera.

Previously, Porsche revealed that the 2024 Panamera is equipped with a standard dual-chamber air suspension system with two new valves, capable of absorbing even the smallest vibrations to provide a comfortable and smooth ride. However, the aforementioned video is likely to advertise a higher-end suspension system than the Porsche Active Ride, which is exclusive to the Panamera 2024 E-Hybrid version. This system not only helps the car operate more stable but also can automatically adjust the ground clearance (raise/lower by 5.5 cm) based on the operating conditions.

According to plans, the 2024 Panamera will be manufactured at Porsche’s factory in Leipzig, Germany. The company has already started taking deposits for this car in the US, with a starting price of $99,900 for the standard version, while the Panamera 4 is priced at $106,900. The price of the Turbo E-Hybrid version has not yet been revealed.
