Preview of Isuzu D-Max 2025 Electric Version

Isuzu confirmed in early September 2023 that the company will introduce its first electric pickup truck, the D-Max, in 2025. The first market the vehicle is targeting is Norway, where the company currently holds half of the pickup truck market share, followed by Thailand. The parent brand has not yet revealed additional details about the electric Isuzu D-Max project. According to Drive, the vehicle could possibly be named E-Max to differentiate it from the original diesel-powered D-Max.

Recently, the YouTube channel AutomagzPro released a video clip illustrating the “exterior” of the future electric Isuzu D-Max, giving car enthusiasts a general idea of the design of this model.

The artists at AutomagzPro have sketched two versions of the electric Isuzu D-Max. One version features a minimalistic front end with a glowing Isuzu logo on the front bumper, while the other variant has a more elaborate design at the front, believed to be directly inspired by the current Mitsubishi Triton/L200. Overall, the overall design of the electric Isuzu D-Max 2025 will be more rugged, angular, powerful, and modern compared to the traditional combustion engine version.

However, it is important to note that these images are just renderings by AutomagzPro, and the company has not yet released any official information about the design of the electric Isuzu D-Max. It is not excluded that Isuzu will develop the D-Max EV based on the current version to save costs.

In the Vietnamese market, the Isuzu D-Max is distributed through official channels and imported from Thailand. The D-Max is available in three versions with prices ranging from 630 to 880 million VND. Isuzu’s pickup truck competes with the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara, Mazda BT-50, and Toyota Hilux.
