After being introduced for about half a year, the Porsche 911 Dakar has appeared at a port in Vietnam. The car bears the serial number 1,904 out of a total of 2,500 produced worldwide.
The car is painted in GT Silver Metallic exterior color, which is one of the standard colors that do not incur a fee for the 911 Dakar. This off-road model only has the unique Dakar 19-inch and 20-inch rims for the front and rear, respectively.
The interior is equipped with Full Bucket sports seats. The seat shell is made of a combination of carbon and plastic (CFRP), and it is embroidered with the number 911. This seat allows for electric height adjustment, but the forward/backward position is manually adjustable.
One notable detail inside the cockpit is the yellow-colored seat belts. This optional add-on costs VND 28.6 million in Vietnam. In addition to yellow, customers can choose other colors such as red, gray, and silver…
The Porsche 911 Dakar is equipped with a 3.0L, 6-cylinder engine. This engine block delivers 480 horsepower and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 240 km/h.
Aiming at off-road driving style, the 911 Dakar has 2 additional Rallye and Offroad driving modes, accompanied by a ground clearance 50 mm higher than the 911 Carrera.
