According to reports, the three most popular colors for cars in 2023 are black, white, and gray. These neutral colors are suitable for all genders and ages. However, if customers are looking for a car that stands out from the others on the road, manufacturers are ready to provide them with a long list of extremely interesting and eye-catching colors.

Recently, Motor1 has compiled a list of the most beautiful new exterior paint colors from various car manufacturers in 2023.

Audi

The color Goodwood Green Pearl appears on the Audi TT Final Edition – the last version of this sports coupe model before it is discontinued in 2024. This paint color is inspired by the exterior of the first generation Audi TT.

Bentley

The Bentley Batur offers a wide range of personalization options. The British luxury car manufacturer has provided this $2.1 million coupe with many vibrant and eye-catching exterior paint color options, including Wasabi Green, Sunbeam Orange, Daybright Green, or Fine Brodgar Silver.

BMW

BMW has introduced some new paint color options this year, especially on the XM SUV model. Among them, Urban Green stands out, inspired by the olive green color found on military vehicles. In addition, the company also offers other striking exterior paint colors for the BMW XM, including Anglesey Green metallic, Mica Blue metallic, and Sepia Purple metallic.

Ferrari

Ferrari introduced the unique KC23 racing car at the Goodwood Speed Festival this year. In addition to its speed, this supercar also attracts attention with its special Gold Mercury exterior paint color, which has a liquid metal effect and a shiny mirror-like appearance.

Ford

This year, Ford added the Polymimetic Grey paint color to the Mustang GTD sports car. This paint color is inspired by the T-1000 antagonist character in the Terminator movie.

In addition, the two models also have another special paint color, Verde Royale Green, inspired by the 1986 Maserati Quattroporte. Additionally, the MC20 supercar also has a Notte Black paint color. The company stated that only 50 units of the MC20 in Notte Black will be produced.

Mercedes-Benz

Flame metallic Orange is a special paint color for the Mercedes-AMG SL63 Big Sur edition, inspired by the sunset in California. Combined with the standout exterior color of this model is a luxurious interior with mysterious red and black hand-sewn Nappa leather.

Porsche

The Sonderwunsch customization department of Porsche has created a special exterior color for the 2024 Panamera called Leblon Violet metallic. This color has a deep purple base combined with brown hazelnut accents.

In addition to the available paint colors, Porsche also offers customers the ability to personalize the exterior paint color of their cars through the Paint-To-Sample Plus service. In February of this year, a customer named Michael Essmann expressed his desire for the company to create his own paint color, and the company fulfilled his request, including the creation of the new Essmanngreen Green color.

Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce regularly carries out special projects for its car models. This year, the luxury car manufacturer from the United Kingdom introduced the Cullinan Blue Shadow with a deep celestial blue exterior color called Stardust Blue. In addition, Rolls-Royce also unveiled the Cullinan Pearl Rose with a unique golden pink shade.

More notably, Rolls-Royce also introduced the Droptail convertible with an independent custom La Rose Noire exterior color, inspired by the charm of the Black Baccara rose – a strong and velvety flower originating from France. This special exterior color appears black in the shade but changes to a shining red golden color when exposed to sunlight. Rolls-Royce stated that to create this paint color, the company’s team of experts had to apply up to 150 layers of primer and paint.
