Toyota Camry 2024 officially launched in Asia: Starting price from 596 million VND

Accordingly, the 2024 Toyota Camry will be sold with 9 versions, with prices ranging from 173,800 – 208,800 CNY (approximately 596 – 716 million VND).

The 9th generation Toyota Camry is still developed based on the TNGA platform as before, but has been completely transformed from the inside out.

The front of the car impresses with a redesigned headlight cluster, a black lower grille, and a changed position of the front parking sensor. The radiator grille is refined into two types, one is a black honeycomb grille that highlights the sportiness. The other type is a frameless grille that has the same color as the body, focusing on luxury and fashion.

On the side, it still features elongated crease lines from the front fender to the taillights, along with multi-spoke wheels with sizes ranging from 17-19 inches (depending on the version). At the back, there is a redesigned taillight cluster in a sleeker and smoother “C” shape, along with a revised bumper.

Inside the cabin, the interior of the 2024 Toyota Camry has been significantly upgraded compared to the previous generation. The car is equipped with a redesigned 7-inch digital instrument cluster, while the 8-inch infotainment screen is placed on the center console.

The touch-sensitive buttons on the wood trim and the redesigned center control panel, 9 JBL audio speakers, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, keyless start, wireless phone charging, power-adjustable/heated/cooled seats, HUD windshield display with augmented reality technology, Huawei HiCar, panoramic 2-piece sunroof with an area of 1.03m2, 15W wireless phone charging, 11-speaker sound system, and 64-color interior ambient lighting.

In the top-of-the-line version, the car is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a center screen. Below the center screen is a touch surface integrated into the dashboard for adjusting the air conditioning.

In addition, the 2024 Toyota Camry in China is also equipped with an operating system developed by Huawei, which improves voice control features through AI artificial intelligence. The car also supports many additional applications such as WeChat, GPS, and software updates via WiFi.

Providing power for the 2024 Toyota Camry in the Chinese market are 3 engine options. The first is a 2.0L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The second option is a hybrid powertrain with a 2.0L gasoline engine, generating a maximum power of 197 horsepower and an average fuel consumption of only 4.2 liters/100 km. The third option is a hybrid powertrain with a 2.5L gasoline engine.

In terms of safety equipment, the all-new Camry is equipped with the standard Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 safety package. This system includes advanced features such as pre-collision warning to detect vehicles and pedestrians, adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist, road sign assist, automatic headlights, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
