Following the announcements of new incentive programs for car models in January 2024 from competitors such as Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, and Subaru, it is now Ford’s turn. According to information on the official website of Ford Vietnam, the three best-selling models of the brand, Territory, Everest, and Ranger, are all eligible for a discounted registration fee. Meanwhile, the Ford Explorer and Transit models are offered with cash incentives.
Specifically, the Ford Territory model is supported with a 50% discounted registration fee. Currently, this compact SUV has three versions with prices ranging from 822 to 954 million VND. With a 50% discounted registration fee, customers can save from 41 to 47 million VND when registering their vehicles, depending on the version.
Similarly, the mid-size SUV Ford Everest also receives a 50% discounted registration fee in January. The Ford Everest in Vietnam currently has five versions with prices ranging from 1,099 to 1,499 billion VND. Therefore, customers who purchase this mid-size SUV can save an amount ranging from 55 to 75 million VND. This incentive program will help the Ford Everest maintain its appeal as the direct competitor, Toyota Fortuner, has recently been discounted by 63 to 120 million VND, bringing the price down to 1,055 to 1,35 billion VND.
For the Ford Ranger pickup truck, all seven versions are eligible for a 50% discounted registration fee in January 2024. The price range for this pickup truck model is currently from 665 to 979 million VND. Therefore, the discount for the Ford Ranger is equivalent to an amount ranging from 33 to 49 million VND. The Ford Ranger Raptor, on the other hand, is offered with an extended warranty package of 2 years or 50,000 kilometers (whichever comes first).
Next is the full-size SUV Ford Explorer Limited 2.3 Ecoboost AT 4WD, which comes with a 100 million VND cash incentive. The corresponding cash reduction for the Ford Transit is 30 million VND.

Official promotion program for Ford models in January 2024
Ford Vietnam’s promotion program will be valid from January 10th to January 27th, 2024. In addition, 100% of customers will also receive lucky money when signing a vehicle purchase contract from January 6th to January 27th, 2024.
Ford Vietnam has not yet announced its sales figures for December 2023. In November 2023, the company sold 3,922 cars to Vietnamese customers. The best-selling model was the Ford Ranger pickup truck with 1,463 units, followed by Territory (1,066 units) and Everest (1,049 units).
During the 11 months of 2023, Vietnamese customers bought a total of 33,468 Ford vehicles, ranking fourth in the overall market, after Toyota, Hyundai, and Kia. The top three best-selling Ford models in Vietnam during the past 11 months were Ford Ranger (14,173 units), Everest (8,476 units), and Territory (6,948 units).
