First introduced in China earlier this year, Bingo was offered with two variants in Indonesia, with the first variant being the Long Range priced at 358 million rupiah (about 560 million dong). With the amount of money spent, the Long Range comes with a 31.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery for a range of 333 km. The next version is the Premium Range priced at 408 million rupiah (about 640 million dong), increasing the range to 410 km thanks to a 37.9 kWh battery. Both versions have the same front-mounted electric motor producing 67 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque.
For charging, the Bingo EV supports up to 3.3 kW AC charging, taking 9.5 hours for a full charge. It also has DC fast charging (the car manufacturer does not specify the acceptable input power) which allows for 30-80% charge state in just 35 minutes.
In terms of equipment, the Bingo EV comes with 15-inch wheels, LED headlights and taillights, synthetic leather perforated seats, two 10.25-inch screens (digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment), 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic parking brake (with auto hold function), ESC, reverse camera, tire pressure monitoring system, keyless entry and start, cruise control, and automatic air conditioning.
Unlike the Air EV, the Bingo EV is a much larger five-door hatchback, with dimensions similar to the BYD Seagull. The car measures 3,950 mm in length, 1,708 mm in width, 1,580 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,560 mm – providing a trunk space of up to 790 liters when the rear seats are folded down.
According to CNN Indonesia, the Bingo EV, which is produced domestically in Indonesia (CKD), has attracted over 3,000 pre-orders before it started accepting pre-orders a month before its launch. There is much information suggesting that this model will soon be available in the Vietnamese market next year, directly competing with the VinFast VF3.
