The Xing Guan, temporarily translated in English as Starlight, is a sedan model with a youthful and eye-catching design. It features a 3D grille that optimizes aerodynamics.
The extended LED positioning lights on the front of the car are similar to the VinFast Lux A2.0 model. The separate LED lighting unit is located below. According to the manufacturer, the drag coefficient is only 0.228.
Unlike the front of the car, the Wuling Xing Guan has a rear end similar to the Kia EV6 electric model, thanks to the extended angular LED taillights. The black painted rear bumper creates an accent but lacks impact due to its simple design. The car is equipped with 17 or 18-inch two-tone painted wheels.
In terms of size, the Xing Guan has a length of 4,835 mm, a width of 1,860 mm, a height of 1,515 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. For easy comparison, the dimensions of this model place it in the D segment and compete with the Toyota Camry. The dimensions of the Camry are 4,885×1,840×1,445 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm.
The interior space features a minimalist and modern style with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and a 10.1-inch center infotainment display. The gear lever is a shiny knob, adding a touch of luxury. The driver’s seat has 6-way power adjustment. Some other standard equipment includes automatic air conditioning, a 4-speaker audio system,…
The top-of-the-line version upgrades to an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch infotainment system with Ling OS operating system, providing positioning and voice control capabilities. Other highlights include a more luxurious steering wheel and two additional speakers.
The Wuling Xing Guan uses a plug-in hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 174 horsepower. The standard version comes with a 9.5 kWh lithium battery for an electric-only range of 70 km, while the top-of-the-line version has a 20.5 kWh battery for a fully electric range of 150 km.
The starting price of the Wuling Xing Guan is from 88,800 Chinese yuan (equivalent to around 290 million VND) and increases to 105,800 Chinese yuan (equivalent to around 346 million VND) for the top-of-the-line version. Wuling also announced plans to introduce a new fully electric model next year.
In Vietnam, Wuling is currently selling the Hongguang Mini EV with four versions ranging from 239-279 million VND. This compact electric car is assembled and distributed by TMT in Hung Yen province.
