A number of 2016 Kia Quoris cars are being discounted up to 1.2 billion VND by some dealers to push inventory.
Kia Quoris was brought to Vietnam by Thaco in 2016, and since then, the car has not received any upgrades. Although it is just a mainstream sedan, the listed price of the car is quite high, up to 2.748 billion VND, making it difficult for customers to afford.
Currently, a dealer in the South is selling a 2016 Kia Quoris for only 1.549 billion VND. Previously, some dealers offered a price of 1.98 billion VND for this model (reducing 750 million VND compared to the listed price), but they still have not sold out of the remaining inventory.
Kia Quoris, also known as Kia K9 (K900), is a car model positioned to compete with luxury cars like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class or Lexus LS. The car has dimensions of 5,095 x 1,900 x 1,490mm and a wheelbase of 3,045mm.
Compared to newer Kia models, the Quoris has a completely different design with many rounded lines. The car is equipped with full LED headlights/taillights, headlights with automatic angle adjustment. The wheels are multi-spoke and have a size of 19 inches.
As for the interior, the Kia Quoris has Nappa leather seats. The driver’s seat can be adjusted in 16 directions. The entertainment system includes a 12.3-inch front screen, 2 headrest screens, and a Harman Lexicon 17-speaker audio system. The rear seats have an integrated armrest with multiple control buttons. This sedan also has other prominent features such as soundproof and thermal insulation glass, power closing doors, independent 3-zone air conditioning, and panoramic sunroof. Compared to newer Kia models, the equipment of the Quoris still belongs to the high-end segment, but the interior design is outdated.
As for the powertrain, the Quoris is equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 gasoline engine with a maximum power of 286 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a maximum torque of 365 Nm at 4,500 rpm. It is accompanied by an 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
