The Mercedes-AMG One is exclusively produced in a limited quantity of 275 units worldwide, with an incredibly high price of $2.72 million (~63 billion VND).

Launched in June 2022, the One is one of AMG’s most special supercars as it is directly developed from the F1 models of Mercedes-Benz. At the time of its release, the Mercedes-AMG One had a starting price of around $2.72 million (~63 billion VND), not including other exclusive accessories. This highly coveted car is only produced in a limited quantity of 275 units worldwide.

After more than 1 year, the first few cars have been delivered to customers, and the first “beast” has appeared on the used car market. This Mercedes-AMG One is currently being sold by a reputable showroom in Dubai, and the selling price is still unknown, but it is predicted to be much higher than the initial starting price.

The Mercedes-AMG One is among the fastest cars in the world, taking only 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h and reaching a top speed of 352km/h. To achieve this, the car is equipped with a V6 1.6L turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor, producing a total output of 1049 horsepower. In order to fully utilize the power of the engine, Mercedes-AMG engineers have designed a special powertrain that includes four electric motors combined.

Two motors are placed at the front, each generating 322 horsepower. The third motor is paired with the gasoline engine, providing 161 horsepower to the crankshaft. The fourth motor is attached to the high-tech turbocharger, adding an additional 121 horsepower. With the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system, each wheel can be independently controlled according to the road conditions.

Similar to Formula 1 racing cars, the frame of the Mercedes-AMG One is designed as a monocoque to increase load-bearing capacity. The carbon fiber engine cover can be detached and features the characteristic NACA air intake design from the aviation industry. The suspension system has 3 customizable modes: Comfort, Sport, or Sport +.

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG One is also very special. The seats are positioned very low so that the driver’s legs can be straightened for the most comfortable driving position at high speeds. The rectangular F1-style steering wheel features two 10-inch digital displays. The interior space is completely finished with carbon fiber and premium leather. The air conditioning system adjusts automatically. Due to the absence of a rear windshield, the real-time MirrorCam feature replaces the rearview mirror to observe the rear areas of the car.

The AMG One is equipped with special 10-spoke wheels with a solid structure and aerodynamic grooves. The car uses Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 M01 tires with a special groove design to maintain stability at high speeds. It is accompanied by six-piston brake calipers and 15.6-inch carbon ceramic disc brakes at the front wheels, and four-piston calipers with 15-inch discs at the rear wheels.
