Recently, the Supreme People’s Procuracy has issued a bill of indictment against former Chairman of Vạn Thịnh Phát Group Trương Mỹ Lan and 85 defendants in the case that occurred at Vạn Thịnh Phát Group, SCB Bank, and related units and organizations.
In which, Ms. Trương Mỹ Lan is charged with the crimes of embezzlement of property, giving bribes, and violating regulations on lending in the activities of credit institutions.
During the investigation, the investigative agency sequestered 1,237 real estate properties and 22 assets consisting of 1 yacht, 2 boats, and 19 cars owned by Ms. Lan. Among them, there is a pair of luxury cars with identical number plates ending in 88 which Ms. Trương Mỹ Lan and her family often use. Many people also often see these cars parked in the basement of the Saigon Times Square building in Ho Chi Minh City.
It is known that the car with license plate 51A-300.58 belongs to the Ghost Series I model. At the time of returning to Vietnam, many people speculated that the value of the car ranged from 10 to 18 billion VND.
