From the first auction round, a big surprise occurred when a large number of people participated in the auction room for the license plate 72A-777.77, among which the prices were pushed up quite high, indicating that 72A-777.77 is a beautiful license plate that many people prefer, so the auction was intense.
After 30 minutes of intense bidding, the license plate 72A-777.77 was won by the highest bidder, reaching 6.85 billion VND, becoming the winner of the auction for the pentachord license plate 7 of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. We learned that the tycoon won the auction by generously spending 1 billion VND in the last seconds.
The identity of the winner of the license plate 72A-777.77 auction is not disclosed, only known that this person is engaged in agricultural products business and currently resides in Chau Duc district, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
According to regulations, the winner of the car license plate auction must pay the full amount of the winning bid within 15 days from the date of the announcement of the results. This amount is deducted from the deposit (40 million VND) but does not include vehicle registration fees.
Afterwards, within 12 months, the winner of the car license plate auction must register this license plate for the vehicle. If the deadline is exceeded, this beautiful license plate will be transferred to the registration and management system, and the winner of the auction will not be refunded the deposited amount.

On the afternoon of October 11th, following discussions, the National Assembly Standing Committee reached an agreement to submit a Draft Resolution on piloting the granting of the right to choose automobile license plates through auctions to the National Assembly, with the aim of granting more authority to the Government.
