With ambitions to become a leading car manufacturer not only in China but also worldwide, the Geely Group has established several sub-brands as well as joint ventures to target various segments, from economy to premium and even supercars. Among these, Galaxy is a brand new brand, only launched last year, with the aim of capturing the mid-range and premium electric car market.

Geely Galaxy E8 launched with gaming screen, cheaper than Hyundai Elantra in Vietnam

Galaxy has released product lines such as L6, L7 and the latest is E8, a fully electric sedan with eye-catching design and modern technology-rich interior that was unveiled last night, January 5, 2024, in the Chinese market.

The Geely Galaxy E8 has officially launched with a total of 5 models, with prices ranging from 175,800 yuan to 228,800 yuan, equivalent to 57.3 million VND to 74.6 million VND, this price point may require Geely to strengthen production line for the Galaxy E8.

The Chinese automaker said that the Geely Galaxy E8 is built on the large-scale SEA architecture and is positioned as a mid-size and large-size fully electric sedan, with rear-wheel and four-wheel drive versions, 800V fast charging support, and a best-in-class operating range of 665 km.

The multimedia system of the Galaxy E8 is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip. The Geely Galaxy E8 supports NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) 2.0.
