In just a short while, the upgraded version of the Hyundai Creta will be officially launched in the Indian market. To generate excitement before the car’s debut, Hyundai has been releasing teaser videos and images of this compact SUV. Recently, Hyundai has further piqued the interest of Indian customers by revealing the luxurious and safety features of the 2024 Creta.

The highlight of the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market is its safety features. The compact SUV will be equipped with 6 airbags and the advanced Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) called Hyundai SmartSense.

In particular, the high-end version of the Hyundai Creta 2024 for the Indian market will have a total of 19 active safety features. These features will provide level 2 autonomous driving capabilities for the Korean SUV. Additionally, the high-end 2024 Creta will have a 360-degree camera, blind-spot warning system, tire pressure monitoring system, 4-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.

Not only will the Hyundai Creta 2024 be safer, but it will also have improved convenience features. The high-end version of the car will have a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. These two features will be seamlessly integrated into a curved screen on the dashboard, providing a modern and high-tech feel to the 2024 Creta.

Furthermore, the car will have a dual-zone automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, 8-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, and 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. The car’s air conditioning will also come with new center air vents controlled through the touchscreen. The Hyundai Creta 2024 will also have new storage compartments.

Another noteworthy feature of the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market is its engine options. The car will have a total of 3 engine options, including a new 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine, shared with the Hyundai Accent. This engine will provide a maximum power output of 160 horsepower and can be mated to either a manual transmission or a dual-clutch automatic transmission with 7 speeds.

The other 2 engine options of the Hyundai Creta 2024 will carry over from the current version. First is a naturally aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing a maximum power output of 115 horsepower. Second is a diesel engine with the same displacement and power output as the above-mentioned petrol engine. These two engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a continuously variable transmission (IVT).

Aside from the engine, the exterior design of the Hyundai Creta 2024 in the Indian market will differ from the model sold in Southeast Asia in general and Vietnam in particular. In the upgraded version, this compact SUV will feature a larger rectangular front grille. In addition, the car will have a two-tier lighting system with new LED daytime running lights positioned above and vertical headlights below. The “L” shaped LED daytime running lights will be placed horizontally at the front of the car, just above the grille.

In addition, the Hyundai Creta 2024 for the Indian market will also have a redesigned front bumper with a wide rectangular center air intake. The two corners of the front bumper, just below the headlights, will feature new air vents.

At the rear, the compact SUV will have a new taillight cluster with the “L” shape and it will stretch horizontally across the rear of the car, similar to the LED daytime running lights. Below that will be a sportier and more aggressive rear bumper.
