2023 has come to an end, and we are looking forward to new things in 2024, as the plans of last year’s unfinished programs will be completed this year. And the car enthusiasts are no exception, after welcoming dozens of supercars to the country in 2023, with the highlight being the McLaren Elva, in 2024 they are also looking forward to many other blockbuster cars.

Join us in finding the most anticipated blockbusters in 2024: Aston Martin Valhalla will be unveiled, Hoang Kim Khanh and Minh “Nhua” are waiting for this car

Lamborghini Revuelto

Lamborghini Revuelto is the first plug-in hybrid supercar from this Italian brand, this is Lamborghini’s response to the horse race when the competition has launched their products for quite a long time, with the Ferrari SF90 having 2 versions, a coupe named Stradale and a convertible named Spider.

Interestingly, in the past year, Minh “Nhua” has also expressed interest in the Lamborghini Revuelto, so it is likely that in 2024, the supercar with Lamborghini’s plug-in hybrid powertrain will arrive in Vietnam under temporary import to be introduced or it could be a brand new car, to be handed over to customers.

In foreign markets, the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar has an official price of over 13.5 billion VND, so it is likely that the price of Lamborghini Revuelto in Vietnam could be over 50 billion VND. Recently, one ASEAN market has introduced the Lamborghini Revuelto supercar, which is Thailand. Buyers here have to spend around 47.49 million Baht (about 32.6 billion dong) to own this hybrid “bull”.

As the first commercial supercar from Lamborghini to be equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, Revuelto receives a lot of attention. Despite using a V12 petrol engine like its predecessors, this supercar weighs 17 kg less and provides more maximum power, reaching 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm, 125 horsepower higher than the Aventador. Combined with the electric motor, the engine of this supercar generates a total output of 1,015 horsepower. This is the first commercial supercar from Lamborghini with a maximum power output exceeding 1,000 horsepower.

The impressive figures above have enabled the Lamborghini Revuelto LB744 supercar to accelerate from a standing position to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, from 0-200 km/h in under 7 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 350 km/h. Compared to its predecessor, the Lamborghini Aventador Ultimae, this new supercar accelerates faster but has a lower top speed of 5 km/h, even compared to its rival, the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, the Lamborghini Revuelto uses a more powerful engine but has the same 0-100 km/h acceleration.

McLaren 750S Spider

After receiving several supercars, sports cars, and motorcycles worth nearly 8 billion VND in 2023, Hoang Kim Khanh also shared that he ordered a McLaren 750S Spider convertible supercar, quickly attracting the attention of car enthusiasts. McLaren announced the selling price of the 750S Spider from $325,000, equivalent to 7.6 billion VND, and in Vietnam, the on-road price of the car could be over 25 billion VND.

Currently, Hoang Kim Khanh only owns one convertible supercar, the Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, and two other sports models with convertible roofs are the Morgan Plus Six and the BMW 428i. The arrival of the McLaren 750S Spider in this player’s garage will be of great significance.

In terms of power, the McLaren 750S Spider still uses the M840T V8 engine, a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged engine like the 765LT Spider but with some adjustments that result in the car having only 750 PS of power, 15 PS less but 30 PS more powerful than the 720S Spider. It has a torque of 590 Nm.

The powertrain of the convertible supercar is transmitted to the rear-wheel-drive system through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, allowing the McLaren 750S Spider convertible supercar to accelerate from a standing position to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, like the 720S Spider, and 0-200 km/h in 7.3 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 20.4 seconds. The top speed is 332 km/h.

Aston Martin Valhalla

According to the expected schedule, the Aston Martin Valhalla supercar was supposed to arrive in Vietnam in October last year for the launch and handover to Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu, however, due to some objective reasons, this has been postponed and most likely will be in 2024.

Only 999 Aston Martin Valhalla cars are produced according to the announcement of the British carmaker and they are taking the Valhalla around the world for the launch with customers, hoping that the car will soon arrive in Vietnam in the first quarter of this year. The starting price of the Aston Martin Valhalla supercar is $800,000 in foreign markets.

The Aston Martin Valhalla supercar uses a new PHEV powertrain system with a twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 engine placed at the rear and integrated with 2 electric motors, which helps increase the total power output of the Aston Martin Valhalla to 937 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm.

The Aston Martin Valhalla supercar uses an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission developed and manufactured exclusively for Aston Martin’s hybrid powertrains, coupled with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential on the rear axle and an electric reverse mode when the driver only uses the 2 electric motors. The Valhalla supercar can accelerate from a standing position to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 330 km/h.
