2 Years In Stock And No Buyers, Showroom Slashes Nearly 2 Billion VND for Ford Mustang Mach-E GT That Doesn’t Use a Drop of Gasoline

There are approximately 2 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT cars in Vietnam, but only one has found an owner so far. The first car to arrive in the country is still looking for a buyer, even though it has been brought in 2 years ago. The showroom has been consistently reducing the price for this electric CUV. Recently, the car was listed for sale at only 3.3 billion VND, a nearly 2 billion VND reduction compared to its initial importation.

The Ford Mustang is one of the most famous sports car brands in the world, with a history of 7 generations and a lifespan of 6 decades by the year 2024. The influence of the Ford Mustang is undeniable. It is this very reason that led the American car company to name their new product, an electric CUV, a high-performance SUV that runs on electricity, the Ford Mustang.

On November 17, 2019, Ford announced the Mustang Mach-E. It doesn’t have any connection to any of the wild horse versions, but the name Mustang really shows that Ford wasn’t very confident in giving their electric crossover a brand-new name. Instead, they just added the word Mach-E to make it more exotic.

And our local showrooms are quick to import Ford’s electric crossover. Currently, according to our research, there are about 2 Ford Mustang Mach-E cars in Vietnam, all of them are the GT version. However, only one of them has found an owner, while the first one that arrived in the country is still looking for a buyer, even after being brought in 2 years ago.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT electric crossover, despite numerous price reductions by the showrooms, has yet to find an owner. Therefore, a luxury and supercar showroom in Hanoi recently announced that they are selling this electric CUV for only 3.3 billion VND, which is nearly 2 billion VND lower than its initial price. This is reasonable because with each passing year, this car model becomes outdated, so cutting the losses to sell it quickly is the right thing to do.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT electric car being sold for 3.3 billion VND has standout features such as its distinctive LED headlights, a front bumper with an added air-intake and side air vents with horizontal dividing bars. Moreover, the car is equipped with dual-spoke rims measuring 20 inches for the front wheels and 21 inches for the rear wheels, along with red Brembo brake calipers.

At the back of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT, there are three separate LED taillights like other sports cars, as well as the GT logo, clearly indicating that this is the premium and strongest version of the Ford Mustang Mach-E. As an electric car, Ford did not equip the Mustang Mach-E GT with an exhaust system, but they did include a sporty air diffuser with similar air channels to the Ford Mustang.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT doesn’t have traditional door handles, it has replaced them with buttons. The car comfortably seats 5 people, in addition to having a spacious storage area that can fit large suitcases or a set of golf clubs, something that Ford Mustang coupe owners have always desired. The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT has a dark interior color scheme with a massive 15.5-inch vertically-standing entertainment screen, allowing users to have various exciting experiences, with below it is a control knob.

The main attraction of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT version is its powerful electric motor. Specifically, the power of the Mach-E GT comes from 2 electric motors delivering power to all four wheels, resulting in a total maximum output of 480 horsepower and a maximum torque of 860 Nm.

This allows the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT electric crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. If you want to go even faster, you can choose the GT Performance Edition, which can do it in just 3.6 seconds.

The 88 kWh battery pack allows the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT electric car to serve its owner on long trips of up to 500 km before needing a full recharge. The impressive feature of the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT version is the support for a 150 kW charging system, allowing the car to charge from 10% to 80% in just 45 minutes when connected to a fast-charging system.
