Recently, images of what are believed to be the expected price list for the VinFast VF 3 have been circulating on social media.
According to this price list, the Base version of the VF 3 is priced at 250 million VND (without battery) or 300 million VND (with battery), while the Plus version is priced at 300 million VND (without battery) or 350 million VND (with battery).
The starting price of 250 million VND for the VF 3 is higher than the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV (239-279 million VND), but the difference is negligible. In return, the Vietnamese-branded electric car has a range of up to 285 km (according to the CLTC testing cycle in China) or 237 km (according to the WLTP testing cycle in Europe). Meanwhile, the maximum driving range of the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV is only 120 km on a full charge.
VinFast VF 3 is developed based on research on the needs and commuting habits of Vietnamese people. The car is compact, with dimensions of 3,114 x 1,673 x 1,567 mm, making it easy for users to navigate narrow and crowded roads.
Despite its compact size, the VinFast VF 3 still has a 5-seat interior space. The interior of the VF 3 impresses with its digital clock, modern flat-bottom steering wheel with touch buttons. The car does not have an entertainment screen and a center armrest. It is highly likely that the production version of the VF 3 will be equipped with electric parking brake and button-type gear.
Currently, VinFast is accepting deposits for the VF 3 through its dealer network nationwide. The company has stated that the cars will be delivered to Vietnamese customers in the third quarter of this year. In addition, VinFast is also planning to introduce the VF 3 in the US.
