It is not clear whether the owner of the 2023 BMW XM with license plate 30K-696.96 was born in 1996 or not, or number 96 is very special to him. Therefore, this Bimmer dared to spend up to 960 million VND to auction for this beautiful license plate. However, registering this beautiful license plate also helps this BMW XM standout, and it fits the saying that luxury cars come with beautiful license plates.
The estimated total cost to make this high-performance luxury SUV BMW XM hit the streets with the license plate 30K-969.69 is over 13.2 billion VND. The strength of the BMW XM when sold in Vietnam is the plug-in hybrid drivetrain.
The heart of the car includes a V8 petrol engine, twin-turbocharged, with a capacity of 4.4L, producing a maximum power of 483 horsepower and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission, integrated with a powerful electric motor of 194 horsepower and 280 Nm. Overall, the car has a total power of 644 horsepower and a maximum torque of 800 Nm.
The engine power allows this SUV, weighing 2.75 tonnes, to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds before reaching a top speed of 270 km/h. The xDrive all-wheel drive system and lithium-ion battery are also equipped for the BMW XM, allowing the car to travel from 82 to 88 km without using a drop of gasoline.
The car also has many safety features such as simulated engine sound system to alert other road users, tire pressure warning, electronic stability control, collision sensors, cruise control system with braking function, active protection system, and parking assist with a 360-degree camera.
