VinFast recently released a short video revealing the first images of its all-new electric pickup truck.
It is expected that this model will be launched at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, which opens on January 9 (US time), or the early morning of January 10 according to Vietnam time.
The 6-second video only shows the front of the pickup truck. The front of the truck looks square and sturdy with the familiar daytime running lights in the shape of wings, but with a slightly different design compared to previous models.
As an electric vehicle, this pickup truck does not have a grille, and the headlights are placed lower than usual.
Currently, the Vietnamese automaker has not officially announced any details about this model. It is only known that the company will showcase two new cars at CES 2024, including an electric pickup truck and a small urban car (VF 3).
Previously, VinFast had gathered customer opinions on the design of their concept cars. Among them was a pickup truck concept in the D-segment. This raised doubts about whether VinFast would introduce a new pickup truck model in the future.
If it is indeed in the D-segment, this electric pickup truck will have similar dimensions to the Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi Triton, and Toyota Hilux. However, VinFast will have the upper hand as the first electric pickup truck in this segment.
