Honda Vietnam (HVN) recently announced the retail sales figures for the motorcycle and automobile business segment in December 2023.
The results were compiled by Honda Authorized Dealership/ Distributors and Services Centers handed over to customers and estimated by HVN.
In December, Honda recorded motorcycle sales reaching 229,411 units, an increase of 36.2% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 10.4% compared to the same period last year. The total sales for the year 2023 were 2,088,557 units, a decrease of 13.3% compared to 2022.
Therefore, HVN’s motorcycle market share in 2023 reached approximately 83.0% (calculated within Vietnam Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers – VAMM), an increase of 2.8% compared to 2022.
On the other hand, in the automobile business segment, Honda Vietnam achieved sales of 4,059 units, an increase of 60.8% compared to the previous month and an increase of 74.8% compared to the same period last year. The total sales for the year 2023 were 23,802 units, a decrease of 22.3% compared to 2022.
