In order to boost sales, many dealers have recently launched a series of promotions for the Suzuki Swift.
Specifically, customers who purchase a car during this period will receive cash discounts ranging from 50 -75 million VND (depending on the dealer). The price of the car now ranges from 485 – 510 million VND, which is the lowest in its segment.
Suzuki Swift, the current generation, was first introduced to the Vietnamese market in December 2018. In 2021, the car underwent its first life-cycle upgrade.
The Swift belongs to the B-segment but has modest dimensions, slightly larger than the A-segment. The car measures 3,845 x 1,735 x 1,496 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,450 mm.
This Japanese hatchback has a small, compact design with a European-inspired style, making it a favorite among many female drivers.
The cabin of the Suzuki Swift is also equipped with many modern conveniences. These include a 3-spoke D-Cut sports steering wheel that can be adjusted in 4 directions, 2 analog gauges with chrome-plated bezels combined with a multi-color TFT LCD display showing driving support information, a 10-inch entertainment screen with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto connectivity, accompanied by a 6-speaker system throughout the car. Below it is a cluster of knobs for adjusting the dual-zone automatic air conditioning, which is extremely convenient.
In terms of safety features, the car only has a few basic functions such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), ISOFIX child seat anchors, Child safety locks, Reverse camera, 2 airbags, etc.
Providing power to the Suzuki Swift is a 1.2-liter engine with 83 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque, combined with a CVT transmission.
In the international market, the Suzuki Swift has introduced a new generation with many changes from the exterior to the interior. It is expected that this model will also be available in Vietnam in the near future.
