Hyundai Creta is one of the popular small urban SUV models in the Indian market. The upgraded version of this model is expected to be unveiled on January 16, 2024, with a series of notable improvements. Currently, the first batch of Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 has been delivered to dealers, providing car enthusiasts with a glimpse of this upgraded model.
Based on Hyundai’s global design language “Sensuous Sportiness,” the new Hyundai Creta Facelift promises to have a bolder and more attention-grabbing style. With its powerful and modern exterior design combined with practical and premium interior features, the Hyundai Creta easily meets the needs of the majority of customers, especially young customers.
In this upgrade, the 2024 Hyundai Creta will apply the brand’s fresh design language, similar to the new Santa Fe and Exter. The car will feature an improved lighting system with an H-shaped graphic, square-shaped headlights, and a long LED taillight cluster – a design style commonly seen on other Hyundai and Kia models, including Venue facelift, Verna, Sonet, and Seltos facelift.
Notable upgrades include redesigned alloy wheels with attractive two-tone colors. The step board has been adjusted to be wider, making it easier for passengers to get in and out, especially the elderly and children. The front has undergone significant updates with new LED headlights, a parameter grille design, redesigned front and rear bumpers, as well as a redesigned rear trunk.
Equipped with advanced technology features, the interior of the new Hyundai Creta provides a futuristic and cockpit-like feel with a seamlessly integrated infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster displaying various information. The Korean automaker stated that the upgraded Creta interior offers users unprecedented spaciousness, comfort, and convenience.
In terms of engines, the Creta Facelift offers three engine options including the 1.5L Kappa Turbo GDi Petrol, 1.5L MPi Petrol, and 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel. The car is available with 4 transmission options including a 6-speed manual, IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission), and 6-speed automatic. The new Hyundai Creta has been fine-tuned to deliver a more powerful driving experience.
Especially, safety is a prominent advantage of the Creta. Hyundai promises to provide 36 standard safety features for the new Creta. These include ABS, EBD, BA, 6 airbags, four-wheel disc brakes, ESC, and many other features.
The new addition to the Creta facelift is the ADAS system, named Hyundai SmartSense. This driver-assistance technology includes 19 features, which is 2 features more than the ADAS system currently equipped in the Seltos facelift by Kia.
The new Hyundai Creta will be available in 7 variants with 6 single-tone color options and 1 dual-tone color option.
