Introduced since late November 2023, recently, the all-new 2024 Suzuki Swift has officially appeared in some dealerships.
Suzuki Swift 2024 measures 3,860 x 1,695 x 1,500mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,450mm. Compared to the previous generation, the 2024 Suzuki Swift is 20mm longer, 5mm taller but 40mm narrower.
The new generation of Suzuki Swift retains the basic lines of the previous model. The front of the car stands out with a honeycomb grille that is slightly smaller. The Suzuki S logo is also moved up to the hood. The headlight has a new design, combined with a smaller air vent on the front bumper, with added faux aluminum accents.
The body area of the 2024 Suzuki Swift still maintains the two-tone style with black door mirrors, pillars and roof, but adds a new detail with a crease line above the door handle. In addition, the rear door handles now return to the traditional style, instead of being hidden on the C-pillar. The wheel design is also refreshed to look more youthful and dynamic.
The rear of the car has smaller and more square LED taillights, along with a black backdrop, tone-sur-tone with the rear bumper.
Regarding the interior, the cabin of the Suzuki Swift has been improved compared to the previous version, but the overall equipment is still quite simple with a 9-inch touchscreen, supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and satellite navigation. The Swift 2024 now has a lever-style air conditioner button instead of the previous round knob.
Suzuki Swift 2024 is still equipped with a CD player, located just above the USB charging ports.
In addition, the car also has some other amenities such as: heated front seats, automatic air conditioning, 2 USB ports, touch screen with front/rear parking assistance, paddle shifters and 360-degree camera.
In terms of safety equipment, the car features a number of driving assistance features such as: improved emergency braking system, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive Cruise Control, automatic reverse braking, automatic headlights and traffic sign recognition.
Providing power for the Suzuki Swift 2024 in the Japanese market is a 1.2L 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with an undisclosed CVT gearbox. The Japanese automaker promises that this new engine will provide better fuel efficiency and performance.
The petrol engine will be accompanied by an electric motor to save fuel and improve acceleration but does not allow temporary pure electric operation. The drivetrain is front-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive.
After the Japanese market, it is likely that this model will continue to be introduced in some other markets, including Vietnam.
