Toyota Vietnam Sells Nearly 60,000 Cars in 2023

In 2023, Toyota Vietnam achieved a sales volume of 59,207 units (including Lexus), bringing the total accumulated sales to over 916,000 units. Specifically, the Lexus brand reached a record sales volume since its launch with 1,793 units, bringing the total accumulated number of vehicles to over 12,000 units.

In terms of production, Toyota produced 26,426 units in 2023, bringing the total production output to over 687,000 units.

In 2023, Toyota welcomed nearly 1.8 million customers, an 8% increase compared to 2022, bringing the total number of vehicles using the official service to over 18 million trips.

Toyota’s exports of components and spare parts generated a revenue of nearly $74 million, with an accumulated revenue of nearly $864 million. In terms of state budget contribution, Toyota contributed over $873 million. The total amount contributed to the state budget reached over $13 billion.

2023 witnessed a comprehensive renewal of Toyota’s product lineup in various segments: Wigo, Yaris Cross, Innova Cross, and Alphard. Among them, 3 models were supplemented with Hybrid versions, bringing the total number of Toyota models with Hybrid versions to 6.

The Vios and Corolla Cross models frequently ranked among the top 10 best-selling models in the market, with sales figures of 13,521 and 10,485 units, respectively. Despite being launched in late September, the Yaris Cross recorded sales of 3,065 units, averaging 1,022 units per month. In December alone, Toyota had 3 models in the top 10 best-selling vehicles: Vios, Veloz Cross, and Yaris Cross, with Vios leading the market with 3,022 units.
