It’s not just the exterior, the interior of the VF Wild also leaves a strong impression on users – which is what attracted both visitors and industry experts at the exhibition.

In addition to attracting a large audience in the US, the VF Wild has also caused a stir in the international media. With its special appeal, the renowned automotive news website Autoblog immediately voted VF Wild as one of the top 5 most popular models at CES 2024. The electric pickup truck from Vietnam also received the “Best CES 2024 Award” from EFTM – Australia’s lifestyle magazine, awarded by the EFTM Editorial Board. “Impressive design with electronic mirror system, reverse-opening doors, and foldable seats to increase cargo space” are the reasons why Techloy, the leading tech news site in Africa, voted VF Wild as one of the top 5 impressive car models at this year’s CES.

With high expectations for the VF Wild, according to experts, VinFast’s electric pickup truck will be well received by US consumers.
“Many people have asked about this car. They are particularly interested in when VF Wild will start production, when it will be available for sale, and when it will hit the US streets. They also want to learn more about the vehicle’s technical specifications,” said Rafael Chocron, a senior engineer at Torino Design, about the potential of the VF Wild in the US.
He also mentioned that although the VF Wild is currently in the concept stage, many automotive industry experts predict that Vietnam’s impressive car could soon be present in the market. “In my opinion, VF Wild will be the perfect car for the US market with its unique design, impressive proportions, distinctive lines, and powerful style,” the expert predicted.

In fact, according to international experts, VinFast’s entry into the pickup truck segment at this time is a wise decision given that it remains the most vibrant segment in the US. Fortune Business Insights estimates that the US pickup truck market is valued at nearly $209 billion in 2023. This market is expected to grow rapidly at a rate of 5.3% per year. By 2030, this lucrative market is projected to expand to nearly $300 billion.
Despite its scale, the actual needs of users have yet to be met by automakers. Writer Jeff Zurschmeide, an automotive journalist for the Portland Tribune and several online publications, pointed out that Americans are still searching for a quality electric pickup truck at an affordable price. Currently, the pickup trucks available in the US market are considered overly expensive. “If this product has a good price and good quality, I think VF Wild will achieve high sales numbers,” said Jeff Zurschmeide.
Commenting on the prospects of entering the US market, expert Kevin Joostema believes that there is a great opportunity for VinFast with the current generation of young and open-minded US consumers. “The market is always open to innovation and novelty,” said Kevin Joostema, evaluating VinFast’s prospects.
With these favorable conditions, according to industry experts, VF Wild could be an important weapon for VinFast to dominate the largest and most demanding market in the world: the US. Furthermore, as assessed by the famous magazine Auto Evolution, VinFast will have the opportunity to penetrate other markets in the near future as the Vietnamese automaker has no intention of slowing down.
