Perhaps by now, Dang Le Nguyen Vu owns the largest collection of cars in Vietnam. In his collection are many hypercars worth billions of dong each. There are some rare ones that few dare to buy, such as the McLaren Senna, Bugatti Veyron, Porsche 918 Spyder, or Ford GT… The estimated value of the car collection is up to hundreds of billions of dong.
In addition, the coffee business tycoon also has a passion for vintage cars. This is evidenced by the many old cars that Mr. Vu has recently acquired.
Porsche 944
The newest addition to Mr. Vu’s car collection is the Porsche 944. A picture posted by a car dealer shows the vintage Porsche on its way to Mr. Vu’s garage. The car has not yet been labeled with the familiar UN letters. This generation of Porsche 944 was developed in the 80s and 90s of the previous century.

This car has a different appearance from most Porsches on the market as it has many angular lines and edges. It features “frog-eye” headlights with classic lids. The single-piece 5-spoke wheels resemble a star. The engine is placed at the front instead of in the middle like modern Porsches. The rear trunk is spacious with a nearly all-glass lid.
The engine specifications of this Porsche 944 are not yet known. This model used to be sold with 4 engine options: 2.5L, 2.7L, 3.0L, and either a 5-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota Corona
Mr. Vu’s Toyota Corona still retains its 4-digit license plate from the past. This is a 3rd generation Corona, produced in the 60s and 70s of the previous century.

This sedan model is about 4 meters long with a wheelbase of 2.45 meters. It weighs less than 1 ton. The Corona line includes various body styles such as sedan, coupe, wagon, hatchback, and even pickup. Mr. Vu’s is a sedan version.
The interior of the Corona looks clean and beautiful with fabric seat covers. Next to the gear lever is Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu’s characteristic coffee cup holder. The car is equipped with a manual transmission.
Toyota Corolla
Mr. Vu’s 5th generation Toyota Corolla stands out in his vintage car collection with its blue color. What’s even more special is that the car is a 3-door hatchback (including the trunk). Normally, old Corollas in Vietnam are sedans with 4 doors.

Mr. Vu’s Corolla is a customized version. The rectangular headlights have been replaced with classic dual round headlights. The wheels have also been modified with 5-spoke rims.
The interior of the car is no longer in its original state. The steering wheel is a 3-spoke RASTP racing style. The entertainment system has been upgraded with a screen. There is the familiar coffee cup holder next to the handbrake. This is still a manual transmission car.
Toyota Celica
After the 2000 Celica, Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu added an older Celica to his car collection. This is the first generation of Toyota’s sports car line, developed in the 70s of the previous century.

This is also a customized car with more aggressive wheels than the original version. The rear trunk is adorned with an additional spoiler to increase its sportiness. Its muscle car-like design is different from the flamboyance of later generations.
Inside, the seats have been reupholstered in leather. Near the gear lever and handbrake is Mr. Vu’s coffee cup holder.
This generation of Celica had engine options of 1.4L, 1.6L, 1.9L, 2.0L, and 2.2L. Mr. Vu’s car is equipped with a manual transmission. This model also had automatic transmission options.
Nissan Datsun 280ZX
Mr. Vu’s super rare sports car from Nissan is the Datsun 280ZX, which can be considered the “predecessor” of today’s 350Z and 370Z. This generation was produced in the 70s and 80s of the previous century.

The 280ZX is quite large compared to the aforementioned vintage cars, with a length of about 4.6 meters. The design of the Datsun 280ZX is sports-oriented with a long front end. The circular headlights are set deep into the lamp housing. The side mirrors are mounted at the front of the car instead of on the A-pillar or door. The front face of the car has been modified with a honeycomb-style grille.
Being a sports car, the 280ZX is equipped with an I6 engine from the past. It has a 4-speed manual, 5-speed manual, or 3-speed automatic transmission options.

The British mini car has a hatchback design with 2 doors. The black paint is accentuated by many bright chrome details. The steel wheels of the car have also been fitted with trim and chrome accents. The side mirrors are mounted at the front of the car.
The 3-spoke steering wheel featuring wood trim has a vintage racing style. The seats have been reupholstered in leather. In the middle of the front two seats is Mr. Vu’s familiar coffee cup holder.
This generation of the car used a 4-cylinder engine with options of 1.1L or 1.3L. Although it is a vintage car, it already had automatic transmission options at that time.
In addition, Mr. Vu still has many other unique vintage cars in his garage. There are some from mainstream brands like Toyota and Nissan, while others are supercars and vintage sports cars from Ferrari and Porsche…
