The Lunar New Year is the time when the demand for car shopping is high. It is also a golden opportunity for automobile manufacturers and dealers to launch large promotional campaigns to stimulate sales.

Here are some hybrid car models that are currently being heavily discounted.

Haval H6 HEV

After a long period of continuous discounts to stimulate purchases, recently, the Chinese carmaker has decided to adjust the proposed selling price of the H6 HEV compact CUV model.

Accordingly, customers who purchase the car from now on will save 110 million VND. The price of the car is now only 986 million VND. This also helps customers save on registration fees.

In addition to adjusting the selling price, this model also has many dealers running promotional programs of up to 100 million VND, bringing the price of the car down to 886 million VND.

The Haval H6 HEV is powered by a 1.5L Turbo petrol engine combined with an electric motor, producing a maximum power of 240 horsepower and a torque of 530 Nm, along with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, front-wheel drive and 4 driving modes (Standard, Sport, Eco, and Slippery). According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the H6 has an average fuel consumption of about 5.5 liters of petrol per 100 km.

In addition to the hybrid drivetrain, the Haval H6 HEV also has a variety of driver assistance features such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, automatic reverse parking, forward/rear collision warning, emergency automatic braking, etc.

Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid

In order to clear inventory, recently, Suzuki Vietnam has also launched many promotional programs and discounts ranging from 117 to 140 million VND for customers who purchase Ertiga cars with the 2022 VIN number. Meanwhile, the 2023 VIN cars are only discounted by a maximum of 70 million VND.

After the application of preferential policies, Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid VIN 2022 now has prices ranging from 421 to 468 million VND, becoming the lowest-priced small MPV in the mainstream segment.

Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid was launched in Vietnam in late September 2022. Compared to other models in the same segment, this MPV from Suzuki stands out with its impressive fuel efficiency. Specifically, it is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine with 103 horsepower combined with an electric motor and a small lithium-ion battery that supports acceleration and provides energy for quick startups.

According to the data from the Vietnam Register, the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid MT model has a reduced fuel consumption of 1.79 – 0.28 – 0.85 liters per 100 km in urban – highway – mixed roads, while the corresponding figures for the AT model are 1.75 – 0.11 – 0.72 liters.

The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is also equipped with a range of convenience features inside the cabin such as a 10-inch touchscreen display with a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, power-operated tailgate, driver armrest, integrated cooling function in the cup holder, rearview mirror integrated with a dashcam, automatic air conditioning, etc.

The vehicle also has cruise control to help reduce driver fatigue when traveling on long journeys.

Toyota Yaris Cross

Since the beginning of 2024, the Yaris Cross has been adjusted by Toyota with a price increase of up to 80 million VND for the petrol version and 73 million VND for the hybrid version. The current suggested retail prices for the car range from 650 to 765 million VND.

This new price range can significantly narrow the gap between the Yaris Cross and its segment competitors such as the Kia Seltos (priced from 604 to 714 million VND) and the Hyundai Creta (priced from 640 to 740 million VND).

The Toyota Yaris Cross is powered by two engine options. The first is the Dynamic Force petrol engine with the 2NR-VE code name, featuring a 4-cylinder, 1.5L engine producing 105 horsepower and a maximum torque of 138 Nm, combined with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

The second option is the hybrid version of the Yaris Cross, which uses an 89-horsepower petrol engine and a maximum torque of 121 Nm. This engine is combined with a powerful 79-horsepower and 141 Nm electric motor, a lithium-ion battery, and an e-CVT transmission.

In addition to its fuel-efficient hybrid engine, the Toyota Yaris Cross also has a range of modern interior features such as a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen that connects to smartphones and voice control, wireless charging, electronic parking brake and auto hold, user-friendly automatic air conditioning, etc.

The car has an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, paddle shifters on the steering wheel (petrol version), panoramic moonroof with electronically controlled sunshade, interior lighting with customizable colors and brightness according to the owner’s preferences, enhancing the overall enjoyable driving experience for customers.
