The upgraded version of the Hyundai Creta features changes in the interior and exterior design and convenience features. The car is available in a total of 7 variants.

The current version of the Hyundai Creta was launched in India in March 2020 and has been one of the best-selling models in the country. Now is the perfect time for the introduction of the mid-life facelift version of this model.

Hyundai has officially launched the facelift version of the Creta in the Indian market. In this market, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is available in 7 variants with prices ranging from 1.1 – 2 million Rupees (~324 – 590 million VND). This model features different design, equipment, and engine from the Hyundai Creta currently sold in Vietnam.

Firstly, in terms of dimensions, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has a length of 4,330 mm, width of 1,790 mm, and height of 1,635 mm. The wheelbase remains at 2,610 mm.

As previously revealed by the company, the design of the Hyundai Creta 2024 has been significantly changed, different from the previous version. This is most evident in the front of the car with a large rectangular grille and central air intake. Next is the new 2-tier headlight system with LED daytime running lights on the top and main headlights on the bottom. Additionally, the LED positioning lights are designed horizontally across the front of the car.

The side of the Hyundai Creta 2024 is almost unchanged compared to the previous version, except for the wheels. The premium version will be equipped with 18-inch wheels with a dual-tone, multi-spoke design. Meanwhile, the lower version will only receive 17-inch wheels.

At the rear of the car, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is equipped with a new taillight cluster with an “L” shape inside and positioned horizontally on the tailgate, similar to the front of the car. The rear bumper features a dark silver trim, giving the SUV a sporty look.

Stepping inside the cabin, users will easily notice that the interior of the Hyundai Creta 2024 has been upgraded to be more modern and luxurious. The car is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, seamlessly integrated into the center console. The screen has 3 interfaces and also serves as the blind-spot monitoring system. Below that is the multi-color interior ambient lighting, adding a touch of modernity and luxury to the CUV.

Next is the new glossy black air vents, new USB Type-C ports in the rear seats, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. The touchscreen climate control is located below the center air vents.

In addition, the Hyundai Creta 2024 also features some other notable equipment, such as power-adjustable driver’s seat, air purifier system, electronic parking brake, Bose sound system, 2-step reclining backrest and rear seat head cushions, as well as sun blinds.

Furthermore, the Hyundai Creta 2024 has also been upgraded in terms of safety technology. It is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) with 19 features such as emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist. As a result, the car has level 2 autonomous driving capability. It also comes with 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring system, tire pressure monitoring system, 4-wheel disc brakes, and electronic stability control.

In India, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is available with 3 different engine options. One of them is a new engine shared with the Hyundai Accent, a turbocharged 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, with a maximum power of 160 horsepower. The engine is paired with a manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The other 2 engine options are the same as the previous version. The first one is a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine with a displacement of 1.5 litres and a maximum power of 115 horsepower. The second one is a diesel engine with the same displacement and maximum power as the aforementioned petrol engine. These 2 engines will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
