After a long teaser campaign, Hyundai has finally unveiled the upgraded version of the Creta. In the Indian market, the 2024 Hyundai Creta starts at 1,099,900 Rs (13,230 USD).
The 2024 Hyundai Creta is available in 7 variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The exterior color options for the Creta facelift include 6 monochrome options and 1 dual-tone option. In this upgrade, the Hyundai Creta has a redesigned exterior, a more premium and feature-rich interior.
The new facelifted Creta has significant changes to its exterior. The car features a new front grille design with black chrome accents, updated LED headlights and daytime running lights, refreshed front and rear bumpers, along with new faux skid plate and dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the rear, the compact SUV has a redesigned tailgate, new taillights, and a full-width LED strip, along with a new faux air vent with high-mounted brake light, 3D Hyundai logo, and new reflectors.
The car comes standard with 6 airbags, and the premium variants are equipped with an advanced ADAS Level 2 driver-assist system. The system includes 19 features with some important additional features such as adaptive cruise control, night vision assist, blind-spot detection, and collision avoidance technology. The list of equipment includes over 70 safety features, with 36 features already available on the standard version.
The interior of the facelifted Creta has also been refined to increase spaciousness and enhance comfort and convenience for users. Some key highlights include a 10.25-inch dual-screen infotainment and instrument cluster display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The center console has been updated and features a 2-zone automatic climate control system, along with a premium Bose 8-speaker sound system.
Other notable features include voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, new patterned leatherette upholstery, leather-wrapped gear knob, rear headrest cushion, 2-step reclining rear seats, tire pressure monitoring system, leather-wrapped D-cut steering wheel, interior ambient lighting, disc brakes on all four wheels, and electronic stability control.
In terms of engine options, the familiar 1.5L petrol and 1.5L diesel engines are retained in the facelifted version. The 1.5L petrol engine delivers 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque, while the 1.5L diesel engine delivers 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine that offers more powerful performance with 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. The car is available with 4 transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and 6-speed automatic.
