Since its launch in March last year, the Lamborghini Revuelto – the successor to the Aventador supercar – has quickly gained attention from a wide range of customers. The Italian carmaker recently confirmed that the number of orders for the Revuelto has been filled up until 2026.

Lamborghini had a successful year in 2023 with a total of over 10,000 cars sold, setting a new sales record. Furthermore, the Italian supercar manufacturer stated that the number of pre-orders for the Revuelto has already been filled up until 2026. This means that customers will have to wait at least nearly 3 years if they want to buy a Revuelto at this moment.

It is important to note that Lamborghini currently only sells the basic version of the Revuelto. A range of powerful variants and special editions will only appear in the later stages of the car’s lifecycle, but that won’t happen as long as demand remains high. It took Lamborghini seven years after the Aventador was launched to introduce the more attractive Aventador Super Veloce Jota LP770-4, so a similar timetable could be expected for the Revuelto SVJ.

Lamborghini hopes that the Revuelto will play a significant role in the brand’s development in the three most important markets. The US is still Lamborghini’s largest market, followed by Germany and China. The Urus is the brand’s best-selling product last year, followed by the Huracan. 12 Aventadors were finally delivered to new owners last year, and Lamborghini has yet to disclose production figures or the first sales of the Revuelto.

The Revuelto is Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid supercar. Prior to that, the brand introduced the limited-production Sian HEV, with only 63 units made.

The Revuelto is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 gasoline engine, producing 825 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and a peak torque of 725 Nm at 6,750 rpm. It is accompanied by two electric motors at the front wheels and a third electric motor attached to the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive system. The total power output of this complex powertrain system reaches 1,001 horsepower, surpassing Lamborghini’s other two models, the Aventador SVJ (770 horsepower) and the Sian (819 horsepower). The Revuelto can reach a top speed of 355 km/h. The acceleration capability of the car is also impressive, taking only about 2.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill.
