Not long ago, the Italian police force was equipped with a Lamborghini Urus Performante for emergency organ transport missions. The vehicle quickly made headlines as it was the first security force in the world to use this super SUV model in addition to other expensive supercars they already had.

Following in Italy’s footsteps, Dubai (United Arab Emirates) recently added a high-performance version of the Lamborghini Urus to their multi-million dollar police car collection.

Unlike the role of the Urus used by the Italian police, the Dubai police use their super SUV for patrol duties, ensuring public safety, and conducting emergency search and rescue operations. However, the main role of this Urus Performante is to promote luxury and attract tourists.

This has been a long-standing practice in Dubai, where they equip their police force with a fleet of supercars and million-dollar hypercars. Some notable models include the Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Bugatti Veyron 16.4, McLaren MP4-12C, Mercedes SLS AMG, Lykan Hypersport, Audi R8, Porsche 918 Spyder, and more.

According to reports, the Lamborghini Urus Performante is just one of the many expensive vehicles provided to the Dubai police. They also own new models such as the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300, Lexus RC F, BMW i3, and even a Tesla Cybertrucks that has been pre-ordered.

The Dubai police’s high-performance “super bull” is characterized by a combination of white and green, which is commonly used on their patrol vehicles. The emergency lights are placed inside the cabin instead of on top of the car like many other supercars. The car features some carbon fiber details such as the front air splitter, side panels, rear diffuser, and spoiler.

The interior images have not been released, but according to Lamborghini, this Urus is equipped with a steel gun box. The dashboard features a mobile display showing the commander’s information. In addition, the luggage compartment has a heart defibrillator and an emergency rescue equipment storage cabinet.

The “heart” of the Lamborghini Urus Performante is a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine that produces a maximum power of 657 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. It is accompanied by an AWD drivetrain and an 8-speed automatic transmission, allowing the super SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The top speed is 306 km/h.

The Lamborghini Urus Performante is currently on sale in Vietnam

Currently, the Lamborghini Urus Performante is officially distributed in Vietnam with prices starting from 16.5 billion VND. About 4 units have been brought into the country, with 3 of them already having owners. The remaining black unit is being sold by the Lamborghini dealership in Ho Chi Minh City.
