International Freight Transport Company Son Nam and Green and Smart Mobility Corporation GSM have held a vehicle handover ceremony and inaugurated the first electric taxi service in Nghe An under the brand name MaiLove. In the near future, Son Nam will put 50 VinFast VF 5 vehicles out of the total 305 leased from GSM into operation, gradually replacing its current fleet of gasoline-powered cars.
According to the contract signed between the two parties, Son Nam will lease 255 VinFast VF 5 cars and 50 VinFast VF e34 cars from GSM to operate the MaiLove electric taxi service in Nghe An. Son Nam Company (formerly known as Mai Linh Nghe An Company, previously well known for its Open Taxi brand) will also be the exclusive partner of GSM in Nghe An to deploy the electric taxi service, thereby promoting green transportation trends and contributing to making Nghe An one of the Green Provinces of the country.
Painted in vibrant green color, MaiLove electric taxis will provide the people of Nghe An with a civilized, modern, and environmentally friendly transportation option. VinFast electric cars, with their odorless, noiseless, and emission-free advantages, equipped with many driving and smart entertainment features, will provide customers with safe and comfortable trips, while helping the operating unit significantly save costs compared to gasoline vehicles.
Customers in Nghe An can book taxis and experience the MaiLove electric taxi service through the hotline 02383 57 57 57, or directly wave down the vibrant green cars on the road, similar to traditional taxis. It is expected that this year, GSM will also integrate the MaiLove electric taxi service on the pure electric service platform Xanh SM, allowing customers to easily book a taxi through the application to know the fare in advance and make payments in more diverse forms.

The cooperation between GSM and Son Nam in deploying the MaiLove electric taxi service in Nghe An once again affirms the consistent trend of transport businesses in switching to the use of green vehicles, aiming to reduce net emissions and change the urban transportation landscape nationwide. Up to now, in addition to the Green SM brand operated by GSM itself, there have been 27 partner enterprises that have switched to electric vehicles together with VinFast and GSM, bringing the total number of electric taxis from these brands nationwide to over 20,000, strongly promoting the green conversion in transportation in Vietnam.
