Toyota is targeting to produce about 10.3 million vehicles in the next five years, which will be a record high for the Japanese automaker.
As of November 2023, Toyota has delivered a total of 9.23 million cars.
In 2024, Toyota expects to produce 3.4 million vehicles in Japan and 6.9 million vehicles overseas, including the Lexus brand.
According to reports, Toyota plans to produce around 250,000 electric vehicles in 2024, with that number increasing to 600,000 by 2025.
The increasing sales of Toyota vehicles are driven by the demand for hybrid models, including conventional hybrids, light hybrids, and plug-in hybrids.
As of November 2023, Toyota has sold a total of 3.1 million hybrid electric vehicles, 24,127 light hybrid electric vehicles, and 112,807 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. In contrast, the sales of pure electric vehicles are modest, at 95,220 units.
In the first 11 months of 2023, Toyota produced 3,099,950 vehicles in Japan and 6,131,118 vehicles in the overseas market, representing a year-on-year increase of 27.3% and 4% respectively.
If we consider the total sales of subsidiary brands Hino and Daihatsu, Toyota has produced a total of 10,612,020 vehicles from January to November 2023.

As for Accord – with the elegance and experiences of a U30 lady, even though she is always praised by everyone, she hides something “difficult to deal with” in the minds of the majority.
