The front shock absorbers of the affected vehicles use bolts to attach them to the vehicle. Due to design issues, the tightening force of the shock absorber bolts may not be sufficient. During the use of the vehicle, the shock absorber bolts may become loose, causing abnormal noise. In the worst case, the shock absorber bolts may fall off, causing instability during vehicle use.
Customers with vehicles in the affected range will receive notifications from Toyota dealers to bring their vehicles for inspection. Based on the inspection results, the vehicles will have their shock absorber bolts tightened. The estimated time for inspection and repair/replacement is about 0.5 to 2.5 hours per vehicle.
2. “Replace dust covers on front brake slide pins on Veloz, Avanza, and Raize imported models” program

The front brake slide pins are equipped with dust covers to prevent dust and water from entering. During the assembly of the front brake assembly, the assembly tool may come into contact with the dust cover, causing damage to the cover. If water enters the dust cover and causes leakage, the brake cylinder may corrode prematurely.
Customers with vehicles in the affected range will receive notifications from Toyota dealers to bring their vehicles for inspection. Based on the inspection results, the vehicles will have their dust covers replaced on the front brake slide pins or the entire front brake assembly. The estimated time for inspection and repair/replacement is about 1.3 to 2.4 hours per vehicle.
