Recently, Haval has released official images of the all-new large SUV, the H9, to the Chinese media, garnering special attention.
As a new generation model, it adopts the latest family-oriented design, with a sturdy and rugged appearance. Based on the current size and power known, the price of the new Haval H9 is expected to be equivalent to the current model.
The current Haval H9 on the market
In terms of appearance, the design of the all-new Haval H9 takes on a classic and square shape, robust and with a strong-playing sense. The front face features a square mesh grille and classic round headlights, while the air intakes are designed with parallel lines and decorated with rivets, creating a unique visual effect. The lower part of the front bumper is equipped with a protective plate to protect the front of the vehicle from collisions in complex terrain conditions.
On the side of the vehicle, the body lines of the all-new Haval H9 run along the entire body, with concave and convex lines that express the characteristic ruggedness of off-road vehicles.
The large arch wheel design in a military style reflects the rugged shape of the body, highlighting the characteristics of a robust off-road vehicle. The rear of the vehicle is equipped with an external spare tire, and the tailgate continues its design with a side-opening.
New photos show that the interior has been redesigned, featuring a redesigned steering wheel and a large central control screen. The gear lever design is consistent with other models in Haval’s product line, emphasizing functionality with physical buttons and knobs.
Under the hood, the all-new Haval H9 is expected to offer a choice between a 2.0T gasoline engine and a 2.4T diesel engine; both paired with an 8AT and 9AT transmission. The current Haval H9 is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 165 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
