The McLaren Elva is one of the special, unique products that UK sports car manufacturer McLaren Automotive has created. Originally, they intended to produce 399 units worldwide. However, the design without a windshield prevented the McLaren Elva from being sold in important markets such as China, the US, and some other countries. As a result, the company reduced the number of cars to 299 units. Once again, the McLaren Elva edition was reduced to only 149 units.

Wealthy people sunbathe with the McLaren Elva, a version without windshields that doesn’t have the details that Minh “Nhua” wanted

The production of the McLaren Elva with a windshield has helped McLaren get more orders. Among them, Minh “Nhua” also owns one, but the version with a windshield was considered to have lost the beauty, aggressiveness, and exclusivity of the McLaren Elva from the beginning. That’s why many customers choose the McLaren Elva version without windshields, meaning they remove the windshield feature.

Among them, the McLaren Elva supercar recently appeared on the streets of Australia, impressing everyone with its stunning and captivating emerald green color. Furthermore, it belongs to the XP version. Additionally, since it doesn’t have a windshield, it will be equipped with the smart Active Air Management System (AAMS) in the front of the driver and on the hood. This system can create an “air bubble” to protect the driver. However, when driving at high speeds, this feature doesn’t benefit the person inside. In fact, a video even shows the wealthy driver losing his hat when accelerating the Elva on the road.

If you’re curious whether Minh “Nhua”‘s McLaren Elva has this detail, the answer is no. Since his car has a windshield, equipping it with the Active Air Management System (AAMS) is pointless, so the company eliminated it.

In addition to its impressive design, the Elva doesn’t have any outstanding features in terms of power, as it still uses the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine found in other McLaren models such as the McLaren 720S, McLaren 720S Spider, and the hypercar McLaren Senna owned by Hoang Kim Khanh or Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu.

The difference is that this heart will deliver a maximum power of 804 horsepower and a peak torque of 800 Nm to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Thanks to this configuration, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.
