In the middle of last year, information about the “mini Mercedes-Benz G-Class” car, Suzuki Jimny, preparing to launch in the Vietnamese market immediately within the year, attracted the attention of many people. However, the car’s launch date was postponed and it is unclear when it will be introduced. However, at some dealerships, they have displayed this “little pepper” model.
Recently, information about the 2024 Suzuki Jimny has once again caused a sensation on social media, with information that its launch time will be in late Q1 2024, i.e. March. Moreover, the expected price of the car will range from 769 million to 789 million VND.
All Suzuki Jimny cars in Vietnam are 3-door versions. Therefore, the car’s dimensions, including length x width x height, respectively, will be 3,645 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm, and the wheelbase will be 2,250 mm.
Compared to the Suzuki Jimny cars that arrived in Vietnam in 2020, this model has undergone major changes such as a new honeycomb grille, which is not divided into vertical bars, while the front bumper retains the same design and the headlights and turn signals remain unchanged.
Inside the car, the interior has only 4 seats with some equipment such as fabric seats, a multifunction steering wheel, a monochrome information display in the analog meter, a 7-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, automatic single-zone air conditioning, AM/FM/Radio/MP3/WMA system, SD card slot, Bluetooth connectivity, USB port, and 2 speakers.
The Suzuki Jimny uses a 4-cylinder inline engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters, generating a maximum power of 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 4-wheel drive system. The car runs on 15-inch wheels with tire size 195/80.
