The Suzuki Jimny is one of the most highly anticipated SUVs in the Vietnamese market.

According to sales consultants, the car is expected to be launched around March 2024.

Recently, a leaked photo of what is believed to be the latest new car registration fee calculation table from the Ministry of Finance appeared on social media. This price list shows that the genuine Suzuki Jimny (code JB74V) has a pre-tax price of 789 million VND. This is also the price that many dealers are accepting deposits for this SUV model.

On the Suzuki Vietnam website, the official image of the Jimny has been released with the phrase “coming soon”. In addition, the car has also been present at most dealerships nationwide to prepare for display and product introduction.

The Suzuki Jimny introduced in Vietnam will be the 3-door version. In this version, the SUV has dimensions of 3,480 x 1,645 x 1,720 mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase length of 2,250 mm.

The exterior of the car has a rugged style, reminiscent of SUV models like the Land Rover Defender or the Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Suzuki Jimny is equipped with many features such as automatic LED headlights, headlight washers, front fog lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, 195/80R15 tires, electrically adjustable/foldable side mirrors, scratch-resistant front/rear bumpers, and horizontally-opening tailgate with spare tire…

In terms of interior, as a offroad vehicle, the cabin of the Suzuki Jimny is designed to be quite simple. However, the car still has all the necessary amenities such as: leather-wrapped steering wheel with function buttons, analogue instrument cluster with a central multi-information display, 7-inch touchscreen center display with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

In terms of safety equipment, Suzuki Jimny will possess a number of driving assistance features such as anti-lock braking system, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and a 6-airbag system.

Providing power for Suzuki Jimny in the Vietnamese market is a natural aspirated 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine that delivers a maximum output of 101 horsepower and 130 Nm torque. It is worth noting that the Suzuki Jimny is perhaps the only car in the small-sized high-ground clearance segment that is equipped with a four-wheel drive system, a limited slip differential, multiple differential lock modes, and comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
