Introducing the global debut of the McLaren 750S in April 2023, the first batch of these supercars has recently been delivered to customers.
The first McLaren 750S sports car comes in Ice White paint, featuring lightweight twin-spoke Vortex wheels and a carbon fiber aerodynamic wing.
The McLaren 750S is considered an upgraded version, a facelift, of the McLaren 720S sports car.
The car still has its signature teardrop-shaped design. However, the front bumper has been revamped with smoother air scoops that seamlessly blend with the bodywork. It also features a contrasting-colored front splitter to enhance the sporty appearance of the supercar.
The side profile of the 750S largely retains the same design as its sibling, the 765LT, without the addition of side skirts. Below the widened rear wheel arches, there are air vents to improve cooling for the rear brakes.
The rear end of the car features familiar slim LED taillights, along with centrally-positioned exhausts that direct upward, similar to the 765LT model. The car’s wing is also larger, providing increased downforce at high speeds or during cornering.
With a monocoque carbon fiber chassis, the McLaren 750S weighs just 1,277 kg dry, which is 30 kg lighter than the McLaren 720S.
In terms of the interior, the cabin of the McLaren 750S doesn’t differ much from the 720S. The entire interior of the car is wrapped in premium Nappa leather or a combination of Nappa leather and Alcantara material, available in two styles: TechLux and Performance. The standard carbon fiber racing seats are 17.5 kg lighter than the ones on the 720S, while the premium racing seats are even 33% lighter.
The 750S also features two additional control buttons on the edge of the digital instrument cluster to adjust other driving-related features.
A new technology introduced on the 750S is the McLaren Control Launcher (MCL), which provides the driver with a customizable driving interface. Activated by a button featuring the McLaren Speedmark, MCL allows the driver to personalize the driving experience by storing individual driving preferences – such as aerodynamics, handling, transmission, and gearbox settings – and instantly activate them with the press of an MCL button.
Propelling the McLaren 750S is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, delivering 750 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, providing strong performance capabilities. The 750S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.2 seconds (7.3 seconds for the Spider version). The acceleration when shifting gears has been improved by optimizing the transmission and enhancing the kick-down control mode.
The car is equipped with the Proactive Chassis Control III intelligent suspension system, with adjustable spring stiffness and three driving modes: Comfort, Sport, and Track.
In the Vietnamese market, the McLaren 750S and 750S Spider are officially distributed with prices starting from 19.9 billion VND and 20.9 billion VND, respectively.
