Haima 7X is a mid-size MPV that was first introduced to the Vietnamese market in December 2023 with one version and a starting price of 865 million VND. At that time, the company announced a discount of 100 million VND, deducted directly from the price of the car, for customers who paid a deposit of 30 million VND. Now, the starting price of the Haima 7X has been reduced even further.
Specifically, starting from January 18, 2024, in addition to the 100 million VND cash discount, customers buying the Haima 7X will also receive a 3-year maintenance voucher, or convert it into 15 million VND deducted from the selling price. With these two discounts, the selling price of the Haima 7X is reduced to only 750 million VND. In addition, customers will also receive an additional 1-year repair and care voucher worth 36.5 million VND from the dealer. So, compared to its segment competitors Toyota Innova Cross (prices ranging from 810 – 990 million VND) and Hyundai Custin (850 – 999 million VND), the Haima 7X is significantly cheaper.
Despite the more than 100 million VND discount, the Haima 7X is still considered difficult to sell in Vietnam. The main reason for this is the brand factor, which is very important to Vietnamese customers when buying a car. In addition, the Haima 7X’s design is not really impressive compared to its Korean and Japanese competitors.
As reported, the Haima 7X has dimensions of length x width x height of 4,815 x 1,874 x 1,720 mm and a wheelbase of 2,860 mm. This model has a wheelbase comparable to the Toyota Innova Cross, but shorter than the Hyundai Custin.
Externally, this Chinese car is not designed in the MPV-SUV hybrid style like its two competitors. Instead, the car has a traditional MPV design.
The exterior equipment of the Haima 7X includes automatic on/off LED headlights with guide lights, LED daytime running lights, automatic rain wipers, electrically adjustable/folding/heated mirrors, power trunk with trunk sensor, 19-inch alloy wheels, and roof rails. The car uses conventional doors like the Toyota Innova Cross instead of the electric sliding doors like the Hyundai Custin.
Inside this Chinese car is a 7-seat interior configuration with a 2+2+3 arrangement. The seats are leather-covered, with 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 4-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat, and second-row seats with a 56-degree recline.
In addition, the car also has a steering wheel with integrated function buttons, a digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen center display, dual-zone automatic air conditioning with air filtration system, wireless charging in the front seats, voice control, smartphone connectivity, GPS navigation system, 6-speaker audio system, 4 USB ports, a third-row seat monitoring camera, and a sunroof.

The “heart” of the Haima 7X is a 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a maximum output of 182 horsepower and a peak torque of 280 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The car has 2 driving modes: Sport and Snow, with an average fuel consumption of 8.3 liters/100 km.
Finally, the car is equipped with safety features such as 6 airbags, 6 front parking sensors, 6 rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, hill start assist, electronic parking brake, temporary brake hold, cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic parking assist, door opening warning, tire pressure monitoring, lane change assist, active emergency braking, blind spot warning, frontal collision warning, and driver monitoring.
