In many major markets around the world, compact SUVs are dominating the list of best-selling car models. For example, in the United States, the top 25 best-selling car models in 2023 include several compact crossovers. Specifically, the Ford Escape ranks 25th, followed by the Subaru Forester at 24, Mazda CX-5 at 23, Subaru Crosstrek at 21, Hyundai Tucson at 15, Chevrolet Equinox at 14, Nissan Rogue at 9, Honda CR-V at 6, and the Toyota RAV4 at 4.

Among them, the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are particularly noteworthy as they fiercely compete for the top spot in the US market. It is crucial for the CR-V to maintain its appeal to consumers as Toyota may introduce a completely new RAV4 later this year, as the current fifth-generation model has been on the market since 2018. In contrast, the sixth-generation Honda CR-V was launched in 2022 and has not undergone many changes since then.

There’s no need to panic, as the digital artists at the AutoYa Youtube channel have created renderings of the potential upgrades for the Honda CR-V. What’s special about these renderings is that they resemble an official Honda model.

This upgraded version features subtle changes throughout. The grille has been slightly downsized and the sleek headlights on both sides have been extended. The front bumper has been refined to create a more harmonious look.

Inside the cabin, the car receives a large vertical touchscreen, reminiscent of a tablet. This design is reminiscent of the central screen in the Ford Everest.

What do you think of this upgraded version of the Honda CR-V? Will the official upgrade be more refined or more spectacular than the one in the rendering? Let’s wait and see!
