Three years after its first launch, the Hyundai Bayon compact SUV has received a mid-life upgrade. The 2024 Hyundai Bayon features Hyundai’s latest design language, including a dual-layer headlight system. The upper layer is a wide LED daytime running light strip that spans the entire front of the vehicle, while the lower layer is a large-sized LED headlight cluster.
Additionally, there are subtle changes to the front bumper and grille, combined with black plastic trims that give the front of the vehicle a more rugged look.
Similar to the front end, the rear end of the vehicle also receives some minor improvements. It is equipped with a new rear bumper that integrates a more modern-looking taillight cluster.
The interior of the Bayon already provides a tech-forward feel with its standard 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster in some markets, but the 8-inch infotainment screen is relatively small unless users pay extra to upgrade to the 10.25-inch screen. In the 2024 model, the 10.25-inch infotainment screen becomes a standard feature of the Bayon, and all markets receive the digital instrument cluster. The navigation system can also be updated via the internet.
Hyundai has not yet announced the powertrain specifications for the 2024 Bayon, but it is likely to continue to be equipped with two versions of the same turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine, delivering maximum power outputs of 98 horsepower and 118 horsepower, while the torque remains unchanged.
The pricing for the 2024 Hyundai Bayon has not been announced yet, while the current version of this SUV is priced from $27,376 in the UK market.
