On the 20th anniversary of the V-Series sports branch, Cadillac has launched the CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing 2025, featuring a more sporty exterior and a more modern interior.

Starting with the 2025 CT5-V, this model has a new front end, making the car look lower and wider. This sports sedan also features a modified grille, along with new headlights with a vertical design. In addition, the CT5-V has a new front bumper with glossy black accents and a rear spoiler.

Other highlights include 19-inch wheels and updated exterior paint colors including Drift Metallic, Deep Space Metallic, and Typhoon Metallic.

Inside the cabin, the car features a completely new 33-inch curved screen, combined with a digital instrument cluster and an infotainment system. The infotainment screen includes built-in Google apps. Detailed information will be announced closer to the US release date, but the CT5-V comes with front seats with massage, heating, and an AKG sound system.

Drivers will also find the standard Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system and a new driver distraction warning feature. In terms of new safety technology, the car currently has traffic sign recognition, blind-spot assist, and automatic emergency braking. In addition, it has features such as forward collision warning, rear cross-traffic braking, enhanced automatic emergency braking, and advanced parking assist.

The 2025 CT5-V Blackwing impresses with its more aggressive appearance, easily distinguishable from the CT5-V. The top-of-the-line model has a sportier front end and a unique grille design. The car is equipped with forged aluminum 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

If the standard model is not powerful enough, Cadillac will offer several carbon fiber appearance packages, with further details to be announced later.

The interior is primarily inherited from the CT5-V, but the Blackwing version has additional features including a heads-up display and front seats with ventilation, airflow, and massage. It also features a unique steering wheel with dedicated controls.

Powering the CT5-V is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine capable of delivering a maximum output of 360 horsepower and a peak torque of 548 Nm, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission and optional all-wheel drive.

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, producing a maximum output of 668 horsepower and a peak torque of 892 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing are expected to start production this summer.
